While friendship and laughter are often associated with your average beer bar, romance rarely is.  Beer-goggle sex, yes.  Romance, no.  That is where the Rooms step in.  Three cozy bars spread through Tribeca and The West Village; the room, the otheroom, and anotheroom are the ideal spots to have (gasp!) a date.  Art lining the walls, intimate seating, no TVs and a dim, warm glow provided by the well-designed lighting will put a sparkle in your partner’s eyes.  Of course, there is also very good beer and no requirement that you come in pairs.  Simply bellying up and chatting with the pleasant bartenders will do.  All-in-all they are can’t miss spots for a peaceful, maybe even romantic, evening.
