From what I can tell, Stanton has gone through a bit of an identity crisis since opening.  For example, Public used to be spelled “Publik” until the owner noticed the little red-line under the name.  And they’ve added a DJ for late night Friday and Saturday fun. That can be a problem though, because sometimes The Beerlord likes to boogie and sometimes he doesn’t.  That’s just the way it is.  But no matter what your feeling are on the changes, know that some things have never changed.  This place does have and always has had great beer, a great outside area and great atmosphere.  And even the times they have the DJ there is plenty of room to escape.  Head here with a handful of beer-loving friends and you will have a good time.
