The virtually unmarked Spuyten Duyvil provides a secluded setting in which to enjoy the eclectic selections from owner and beer expert, Joe Carroll.  While the carefully thrown-together interior is a pleasant setting to sip on an Orval during colder weather, The Beerlord recommends taking advantage of the atmospheric back yard whenever possible.  A selection from the cask or one of the six taps is always a worthy option, but do not overlook the unparalleled bottle list with choices such as Coniston Bluebird Bitter and all of the legal Trappists at your disposal.  Overall, a great place to sit back, relax and count the fedoras.
