Lenora’s Way, while Beerlord worthy, had a bit of an identity crisis.  Half wine bar, half beer bar, and half glass tile advertisement, it was never sure which feature to push.  So when one of the owners of East Village Tavern took over the space, he knew exactly where to go with it: The Beer.  Replacing the slightly foofy interior with a manufactured dive bar – complete with authentic old beer lamps – was a good move.  So was removing everything expect beer from the menu.  He was also smart to leave the excellent patio virtually untouched.  Oh, and if you bring your dog, it won’t be the only one there.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Great Back deck and slick interior with long bar and a few tables. 

Well displayed bottle selection behind the bar, grouped by country of origin.

FOOD/SPIRITS

Kitchen stays open until 1am every night serving panini, salads and various light dishes. 

Excellent selection of wines by the glass.
