The only Upper Westside bar determined to Beerlord Worthy, George Keeley provides the perfect destination for a weekend afternoon beer and burger. There is an indefinable happiness to the spot that makes it impossible to walk past.  Maybe it’s the well-behaved and strangely omni-present rag-mop of a dog that a local often brings with her.  Maybe it’s the warm, natural atmosphere with past taps and members of the 100 Pint Club lining the walls.  Or maybe it’s just finding so many great beers at great prices in the Upper MiddleClassSide.  The prominence of Gaffel Kölsh as its signature beer and the large selection of Micros propels GK past the average you’d-better-like-Guinness pub and into the realm of beer excellence. Oh and, if that’s your thing, they do have Guinness.

SPECIAL FEATURES

7 decent sized TVs with the volume on in the evenings for major sporting events.  If that’s your thing, evenings are often packed with people cheering on their teams and having a great time doing it. 

100 Pint Beer Club:  Drink 100 different beers and you are allowed to join the club.  The 200 Pint Club explains itself.  Members of the 300 Pint club are all dead.
