Often named as New York’s best beer bar by the press and patrons alike, there is really nothing to not like about Blind Tiger.   The 28 draughts are almost exclusively U.S. micros with the occasional Belgian or German thrown in to prove that Europe does still exist.  Excellent breweries such as Great Divide, Green Flash and Sly Fox are often represented, although the truth is you never know what you are going to find.  The constantly changing taps are bound to feature at least one or two beers even an aficionado has not tried.  While it is lacking outdoor seating, the large front windows are thrown open during fair weather to let in some fresh air.  No matter how crowded the spot gets (and it DOES) a communal effort between the diligent bartenders and your fellow customers will get your beer passed back to you.  Just don’t forget to pass the money back.
