4th is at its best twice. Slip in somewhere between 4 and 6 and you’ll find a handful of regulars bellied-up and maybe one or two tables taken. A pleasant, natural light flows in from the front and illuminates the awesome row of taps. It’s obvious the owners make every effort to keep the selections interesting. The Beerlord always finds some of his favorite beers and at least a few he hasn’t tried before. The Pub shines just as much when the lights go down. Stroll out the back door and, weather permitting, head downstairs to the well-lit back deck. There are plenty of chairs and the open deck prevents the numerous conversations from drowning your own. A great place to spend the whole night or as the last stop on a Park Slope Beer Crawl.
