You’re not likely to notice the hidden 124 Old Rabbit Club while walking down MacDougal.  But keeping a bar secret from The Beerlord is a futile effort  He does subscribe to Time Out New York, after all. And it’s a good thing he does.  Old Rabbit has 3 taps, a nice bottle list and a dark, almost gothic atmosphere that makes each sip taste all the better.  Should you be lucky to grab the table at the back, you’ll feel a nice separation from the rest of the bar.  Otherwise, it’s belly up and join the mix of singles and small groups.  124 is located on the east side of MacDougal between W 3rd and Bleecker.  Find Ali Baba at 126 MacDougal and look beneath it.  Take the stairs down and open the door.  Not really too hard to find.  They do have to make some money, after all.
